Start Here – Got a Question, Need Help?

BikeGremlin is a network of educational websites and YouTube channels, created to share tested knowledge and practical experience – covering bicycles, mechanics, IT, cybersecurity, and the occasional dose of dry humor or reflection.

This page helps you find everything in one place: guides, videos, blog articles, and tools I’ve built over the years.

🧵 Forum: Questions & Answers, Notes & Discussions

The BikeGremlin Forum (bikegremlin.net) is more than just a place to ask questions. It’s also where I share:

  • Quick notes and short-form articles that don’t make it to the main websites
  • Informal discussions and behind-the-scenes thoughts
  • Troubleshooting insights and experience-based follow-ups

Whether it’s about bicycles, web hosting, email, or weird mechanical rabbit holes — you’ll likely find something useful (or at least mildly entertaining).

Example: Unsafe quill stems (threaded forks)

💬 Still Have a Question?

If something isn’t covered, you’re welcome to ask on the BikeGremlin Forum. Posting publicly keeps answers searchable and helps others with similar questions.

Why not via private messages, email, or social media?

🧾 What to Include When Asking

To get better answers, include as much relevant detail as possible. For example, if asking about a bicycle:

  • Bike make & model (e.g. “Cube Aim Race 2021”)
  • Component model (e.g. “Shimano RD-M531”)
  • Clear problem description
  • Photos (if possible), or detailed explanation
  • Riding conditions (rain, mud, steep hills, heavy loads…)

More detail = better answers.

Thanks for reading before posting. 🙏
